City University of Hong Kong Press’ new book “Cultivating Change in Our Community: 300+ Tech Startups” was launched at the 2024 Hong Kong Book Fair.  Dr. Gary Cheng, an alumnus of the university, is one of the entrepreneurs who provided unique insights to start-ups featured in the book. Gary Cheng Group, a partner of CityU’s flagship start-up platform “HK Tech 300”, provides company formation, accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate finance, and corporate governance services to HK Tech 300 start-ups.

Dr. Gary Cheng holds multiple positions at the Hong Kong City University. He is a current member of the CityU Court, an Academic Advisor to the CityU Academy of Innovation, and the Inaugural Mentor of HK Tech 300. In May 2021, CityU’s The Student Career Centre was named the “Judith and Gary Cheng Student Career Centre“. Dr. Cheng was conferred the title of CityU Honorary Fellow in 2022.
